HOW TO FIND THE FLY-IN EVENT
Directions by air:
0.5 miles S-SW of NORTHERN LIGHTS AIRPORT & SEAPLANE BASE (VT46 and
2VT2) - Montreal Sectional
northern Lake Champlain near the Canadian border; Float Planes will park
on the far EAST end of the Alburgh Dunes State Park (AKA Palmer Beach),
within 10 minute walk to Northern Lights Airport.

Coordinates are for VT 46 Northern Lights.
Consult and print-out satellite photo of all references prior to
arrival. Alburg Dunes Beach
is approximately 0.5 miles S/SW of the Northern Lights grass strip. We
are authorized to park ONLY at the far Eastern corner of the beach.

RWY 03 Left Traffic RWY 21 Right Traffic.

2VT2 Northern Lights Seaplane Base:
RWY 36 Right Traffic RWY 18 Left traffic; Caution Wires parallel
North side of bridge to north. Lake level approximately 95 feet MSL;
Recommended TPA =500 ‘ AGL.
Note: Any aircraft wanting to land at Northern

FUEL AVAILABILITY:
Both 100LL fuel and Mix
(50:50 100LL and Autogas without alcohol) available for Fly-In at
following locations:

Northern Lights Seaplane
Base (look for balloons tied to dock, south of bridge, on WEST shore
of Alburg Passage, just EAST of Northern Lights grass strip.
Call (802) 796-3011 or (802) 233-5591 to arrange fueling.

Fuel from Cart will also be
available by request at the Alburg Dunes Beach parking area, for
refueling if possible, TBA.

Floating seaplane dock accessible for one aircraft at a time.
Find the drawbridge connecting two large islands, then follow the
EAST shore past the drawbridge south until you see large YELLOW mooring
ball near a dock with balloons also flying. TPA = 500 AGL recommended.
Will have 100LL for Fly-In upon request, as 2nd choice
to Northern Lights. Request

Directions by car:
North on I-89 to Exit 17; Go 27.5 miles on Route 2 North to LEFT turn
onto Poor Farm Road, go 1 mile, RIGHT at sign to Northern Lights
Airport. Consult web-sites:

to flying in on floats.
